T-Zero Truck (with or without deck)
Trucks are in stock. Decks are built to order with a 30 - 45 day lead time, including raw material delivery.
The T-Zero "Truck" makes rear brackets look awfully heavy and expensive. It is top mount, but with a bracket ride height. It is ultra compact, simple, lightweight, and endlessly adjustable. Machined from ultra strong 7075 aluminum, the truck is only 202 grams with all parts pictured. Add 80 more grams if you want to include the extended tail in the weight calculations. Inside, you will find a vibration and noise dampening Kore insert, press fit to be snug on a 5/16 axle. If you prefer a harsher noisy ride that otherwise performs exactly the same, a 5/16" ID (3/4" OD) spherical bearing can be swapped in after market. The proprietary deck layup adds some snappy torsion to the mix.
Typical bushing recommendation:
<160 lbs: 90A Green Krank Tall Fat Cone
160-185 lbs: 93A Red Wine Krank Tall Fat Cone
185 lbs+: 96A Grey Krank Tall Fat Cone
Purchase options:
1. Truck, as pictured, without deck. Includes a deck chop template since this truck requires a special deck shape for wheel clearance. (Not responsible for the quality or success of your chop job). (In case you have other ideas, this truck requires approx. 1.5” of risers to be at the same ride height as other popular front trucks).
2. Truck plus lightweight eco friendly bracket deck, shaped specifically for wheel clearance. Decks are built to order, so expect a 30- 45 day lead time. Flex will be customized to your preference. The deck is 34" X 9.5" with 8mm progressive concave tapered lengthwise to follow the deck taper. It will result in an approx. 35-36" axle to axle wheel base when combined with the front bracket and truck of your choosing (purchased separately). The tapered concave retains optimal flex/stiffness while minimizing weight and aiding wheel clearance. It is constructed with a light weight basswood core reinforced with hemp composite. The skins are made from FSC Canadian maple face and cross ply, with mounting holes reinforced with hemp composite. The deck is stained grey using natural iron acetate, and then sealed with eco-friendly water based polyurethane.
